  Zum Tuerken hotel   During the period, this hotel situated right behind the Berghof was commandeered by the Nazi Party and housed the Reichssicherheitsdienst (RSD) security service and SS guard battalion.

  Bormann's jacket   A member of the 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, wearing one of  Martin Bormann's  white summer jackets looted from his Berchtesgaden home. The jacket itself is now in a private collection somewhere.
